About Jill
Jill is a Licensed Professional Counselor and former educator. She began her counseling career in 2018 where she developed a passion for helping victims of trauma. She currently utilizes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients overcome the difficulties related to traumatic events and find purpose in their pain. Jill uses the Gottman Method to assist families with increased healthy communication. Jill's primary focus is in working with First Responders and their families, medical professionals, teen girls and women. She is a clinical supervisor and is also trained in Critical Incident Stress Management. Jill works as a contract therapist for Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.), which is a national organization that provides support and counseling to co-workers and family members of fallen law enforcement officers. She is honored to get to attend COPS kid's camp, spouse's retreat, and national police week. She also partners with the non-profit group, Warriors Rest Foundation assisting as a mental health professional for peer support teams by offering counseling, education and support to first responders and their families. She also enjoys working with Warrior's rest at Post Critical Incident Seminars and Critical Incident Debriefings.
